May was such a busy, fun month!
We started off the month with Luke finishing all of his schooling for pharmacy school and starting his first rotation! He had one week off between school and starting rotations, so I took a day off work and we had a date day! We had lunch at the pump house, went shopping in Charlotte (and found some awesome dining room chairs from the Farmhouse Market), took a long nap, and then babysat our favorite girlies – June and Nora!
Thankfully, the first rotation has proven to be really low-key and has left Luke with a lot of free time, which allowed him to build our table! 🙂
We also had our last youth group meeting of the semester with a fun cookout and David, our youth minister, surprised all of the leaders with setting aside a time for our students to talk about us. It was precious and my heart swelled as I reflected over the past year and how much my sweet 10th grade girls have impacted me. I sure do love them.
Luke & helped with North Rock Hill’s Graduate Luncheon and celebrated our mamas and had a great day in Columbia celebrating sweet Saylor’s 1st birthday and visiting one of our best friends, Adam. We concluded the month with a wonderful Memorial Day with no work and a bbq with both of our families 🙂
