December 2020

I’m very thankful that we had a low key Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve evening with my family and then Luke and I had time just the two of us Christmas morning and then we spent the afternoon and evening with my family again. It actually snowed a little bit on Christmas morning! We had a great time just chilling, eating good food, and opening gifts. My dad went all out with getting my mom some new air pods and a diamond band for her wedding ring! Clay and I also got her some ugg slippers and I was so happy that she loved them. She is so deserving of all the spoiling! We spent the day after Christmas with Luke’s grandparents and extended family in the evening and then Lauren, Melissa and I came back to our house to hang out for a little while. On Sunday, we spent most of the day with the Hamiltons and did gifts, ate, and played apples to apples. It was wonderful to have 5 days in a row off, as I took the Monday after Christmas too! My sweet mama came over to help us take down Christmas and mopped our whole house! Praise!

The rest of the month –> Visiting Lad at the towers for his 97th birthday. Celebrating Lauren’s graduation from seminary in Clemson. Visiting David, Ellen, and baby Charlotte. A day spent with my mama out to lunch at the Pump house, getting pedicures, and then massages. My FBC baby shower. Lots of nesting. Christmas lights around Rock Hill with Drew, Caitlyn, and Wyatt. A cozy Friday night with Lindsey exchanging presents. Caitlyn, Drew, and Wyatt coming over for a night around the fire. Paul David Tripp Advent devotion with Luke every night. OTC Christmas Service outside @ The Dream Center. Doctors appts and getting so close to meeting our baby.
